cowboy up!

via
For weeks now I keep seeing this outfit pop up on Pinterest.  And, to be honest, every time I look at it I don't really like it.  It's just not really that sophisticated and it's so...country .

Not that there's anything wrong with country.  You're talking to a girl who lived in Texas for a few years.  I love a good cowboy hat and boot!  Well, regardless of my very bland thoughts on this look, I think it rubbed off on me, because...

well, I'll just show you:

Old Navy chambray button-up, F21 skirt & necklace, Banana Republic belt, Etienne Aligner Chip riding boots via Macy's, watch via Target

Well, excuse me while I go milk my cow, Ms. Bessie.

I agree, I didn't care for that outfit either, and I'm a die hard country music fan. Go figure. I like your version better;-)
