equestrian chic.

Sweater via Banana Republic, Express Zelda skinny jeans, Etienne Aigner Chip riding boots via Macy's, Ralph Lauren Chatsworth Leather Drawstring bag via TJMaxx, bracelet via F21
It's no secret that I adore my riding boots.  (Probably a little too much!)  I bought the Etienne Aigner Costa boots over 2 years ago and I have been wearing them constantly since.  In fact, they are such a staple to my outfits that when my Costa boots bit the dust this week I was truly devastated.  The zippers malfunctioned and I was quoted $100 for a repair.  Can you believe it?  No, thank you--for that price, I'd rather just buy new boots!

As sad as I was, I immediately got to shopping and found a new pair.  Again, I ended up with Etienne Aigners- this time the Chip riding boots (in "Banana Bread", for those that have been asking!).
These shoes are bliss!!  Highly recommended to anyone shopping for riding boots.  Oh, and just for good measure my work bag also decided give out this week.  Fortunately, I scored this beautiful one at TJMaxx!

P.S.  I'm pretty sure that I'm trying to live out my Ralph Lauren equestrian fantasy in this outfit.  I never did get that pony as a child!

Happy almost Thanksgiving, Loves!!

  1. Love this whole look! I bought a cheap pair of boots from Gap, while looking for the boots I really want (Tory Burch riding boots!) and they have quickly become my favorite while I save up for the good pair!

  2. Gorgeous outfit! Love the rich color of the bag and boots - they make any outfit look elegant!

I have tan boots that I wear all fall - but they're faux leather ones - one day when I find the right pair, I'm definitely upgrading to real leather.

p.s. It's such a shame the repair cost on your old boots was so high!

  5. I purchased the exact same boots a few weeks ago in a slightly darker brown color. I've basically worn them with every outfit each day since. So comfortable and I get tons of compliments!!

  6. What color are those boots? I just looked them up and love them! I just can't tell if they are the Banana Bread or Brown.
